Dewayne Nichols

Greetings,

My name is Dewayne Nichols and I am excited to be apart of the AFSA Family.  I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Sport Pedagogy and a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership.  In addition to teaching Physical Education, Health, and Computer Arts at the k-8 building I will also have the privilege to be an assistant baseball coach and spend time at the High School.  As a father, and educator, I believe it is important to model to those entrusted to me the process of striving for excellence.

This year in Computer Arts students will be focusing on skills needed for success in the 21st Century. Students in 5th and 6th grade will spend a significant portion of the time learning and practicing touch typing.  Students in 7th and 8th grade will be working on a budgeting portfolio that will provide students practical experience in financial literacy while utilizing various productivity applications.
