Construction- 1 trimester - $25 Material Fee Required

This class is an introduction to the construction process and the materials used. We'll begin the course with a study of typical construction materials and progress through the techniques used to create buildings.  This course also introduces various construction materials, their composition and application. Emphasis will be placed on safety, development and interpretation of construction drawings, specifications for specific structures, materials selection, cost estimations, site preparation and construction techniques.
