Course Description
Integrated Mathematics is designed to prepare students at their own pace for future mathematics courses and give them background to utilize Algebra, Geometry, and Algebra 2 skills in their everyday lives. The specific topics include: solving equations and systems, functions, area and perimeter, angles, triangle similarity, 3-D solids, trigonometry, and much more. This course will stress not only key mathematical skills, but also the importance of problem solving, reasoning, critical thinking, and teamwork. Students will solve, analyze, and critique other students’ ideas as they work together to develop mathematical thought.
