Mr. Eldridge

Welcome to science, everyone!

My name is Jason Eldridge and I come from Sheboygan, Wisconsin. I have a degree from the University of Wisconsin - River Falls in Music Education and a Master of Arts in Teaching from Concordia University in St. Paul. I have taught now for about thirteen years in a myriad of positions. I have taught science, phy ed, band, choir, language arts, and been a 5th grade classroom teacher. I have been a substitue, a paraprofessional, and teacher. I believe these experiences have helped shape my teaching style. I am calm, relaxed, and bring a patient and caring attitude to the work of teaching students.

My love of science is something which pervades my life and I am constantly reading articles and keeping up on the newest science in our crazy world. I have a soft spot for technology and have just built my first gaming computer. I treated it as a hands on science lesson with my son and we had a wonderful day of connecting components, managing cables, and programming all the parts to work together. I live in St. Paul currently with my wife of eighteen years, my eleven year old son, an aging dog named Calvin, and a vivacious feline, Gunner. I love video games, the outdoors, cycling, camping, hiking, and the winter *gasp*! I also enjoy cooking and reading and being around a campfire.

I am excited to share my love and knowledge of science with you and hope to have a great 2020 school year and beyond!
