    AFSA Elementary
    Full time Elementary Teacher

     

    AFSA Elementary School is seeking  licensed elementary teachers for our Elementary program (4th - 6th grade). This is a full-time permanent position. AFSA elementary class sizes are between 22 and 24 students in size.  AFSA uses standards-based grading and encourages hands-on lessons and projects that build skills, curiosity and a love of learning for our students.  We are a community of learners who welcome everyone and work hard to promote inclusivity. Teachers have a lot of flexibility with their planning and have prep time each day. Teachers are supported by a school counselor, dean of student, classroom paraprofessionals and an academic director.

    AFSA is seeking a full-time High School Math Teacher for fall of 2024. AFSA uses CPM Curriculum, training is available for those new to this program.  Join  a team of three other math teachers to serve students in grades 7-12. AFSA brings a unique learning experience to our students and we are seeking teachers who can build strong student, parent, and community relationships for our team.

    AFSA is seeking a full-time Elementary Special Education case manager. Case loads are low, with due process time scheduled. Professional development provided for licensure requirements and more. We work with an inclusion model of primarily level 1 and 2 students.  AFSA brings a unique learning experience to our students and we are seeking teachers who can build strong student, parent, and community relationships for our team. 

    Licensure in DD for one position. Two positions available.

    AFSA is seeking a full-time High School Social Studies Teacher for fall of 2024. Our ideal candidate will be innovative and adaptable. They will work to develop student-led learning and incorporate projects and hands-on learning within the structure of state standards.  Field trips are encouraged! They should be a strong communicator and willing and able to collaborate with their colleagues.  AFSA brings a unique learning experience to our students and we are seeking teachers who can build strong student, parent, and community relationships for our team.
