Some postsecondary institutions and scholarships use the CSS Profile to award nonfederal aid. To check if your postsecondary institution requires the CSS Profile, check out the institution's Admissions or Financial Aid webpages.

Minnesota has agreements with neighboring states to provide lower tuition for Minnesota residents to attend public colleges and universities in those states. This is called reciprocity. Typically, non-resident admission fees and tuition are reduced (or eliminated) if you're a reciprocity student.

Minnesota residents (including eligible undocumented students), may be eligible for reduced tuition at a limited number of Midwest public and private schools and programs of study in Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Michigan, Missouri, Nebraska, and Wisconsin.
